Dicky James – Bragging Rights?

Posted by on Feb 13, 2013

ibc3The ever diligent staff at the Indiana Blues Society has let me know that the Dicky James and the Blue Flames’  ‘Hard Rain’ album is, after almost 2 years, still in the top five on the Indiana Roots charts. We think that’s pretty cool.  Just ask us. Hopefully the next record will do as well. Of course, you have to release the record for it to be successful. It’s comin’. It’s comin’.

This Saturday night at 8 pm we’ll be at the Salt Creek Brewery, 466 Old State Road 37 in Bedford, IN. Actually, sort of outside Bedford. This is a small venue but has some of the best microbrew beer in the land. I mean goooood beer. We had fun here the last we played.

Player’s Pub in Bloomington next week.

  1. Heya fantastic website! Does running a blog similar to this take
a massive amount work? I have very little knowledge of computer programming
but I had been hoping to start my own blog in the near future.
Anyhow, if you have any ideas or tips for new blog owners
please share. I understand this is off topic but I simply had to ask.
    Appreciate it!

    • We set the site up on Word Press. Well, we paid a guy to set it up. I write the blogs each week which are easy to post. I also update and maintain the information, also easy. Glad you like it. Come here the band sometime.
      Thanks, Will

  3. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is required to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I’m not very internet savvy so I’m not 100% positive.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
